Sean Henry was raised in a Christian home and has been a part of the PCA his whole life. Born in Rock Hill, SC, his family moved to Roswell, GA (suburb of Atlanta) when he was 10. By God’s grace he can’t remember a time when he didn’t know and love the Lord and saw particular growth during high school when multiple men discipled him and his understanding of theology and the gospel matured from that of a child to more of an adult. He met his wife Vanessa in middle school choir at their church. The two became very close friends throughout high school and eventually started dating in college. Sean went to Berry College in Rome, GA and graduated with a B.A. in Communications. He moved back to Roswell after college and began working for Federated Insurance in the commercial liability claims department in 2003. He and Vanessa were married in 2004 and the Lord has blessed them with 3 daughters – Michaela, Alexis, and Emma. The Lord brought them to Texas in 2016 via a transfer to Federated’s DFW office. Though he is politely supporting the Dallas sports teams, he is still true to his Braves and Falcons and is raising his children in the fandom and misery of them. Previously Sean was a deacon at Christ Church PCA in Atlanta and is thankful for the opportunity to serve among our family here at Grace Community. This church represents one of many “Ebenezers” for Sean, Vanessa, and their girls as God showcased His covenant faithfulness to them in that even as they moved 800+ miles away from both their families He provided this community of faith that is a second family to them.
